The bishops of the United States of America have begun the National Eucharistic Revival, a multi-year process of encounter with our Eucharistic Lord in the Blessed Sacrament through worship and study in preparation for a massive evangelization effort. The diocesan phase is well underway and the parish phase begins on Corpus Christi 2023.
When Father De Salvo and Father Alberts arrived at Visitation on July 1, 2022, Father De Salvo preached to present his vision as Pastor of Visitation and one thing was made abundantly clear: nothing is more important than the salvation of your soul. The Eucharist is the mystery in the Church which brings forth the work of salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ on Calvary. Therefore, the priests of Visitation have made devotion to the Eucharist a top priority.
As a Church in the United States, the bishops have resounded their own commitment to this effort, not only to increase our own faith in this fundamental mystery of our faith, but to equip us as disciples to "go forth and teach".
At Visitation Catholic Church, God always gets our first and our best. We hope that you will join us in the efforts of the Revival.
